This modern take on a simple gabled building is inspired by the form of traditional barns that dot the Island’s countryside. Clad entirely in black steel and set amongst towering spruce trees and lush vegetation; the home is accessed by a discreet driveway off a dirt lane. The entrances are signified by minimal cedar canopies providing a warm contrast to the steel cladding.
Featuring a double height open concept living, dining, and kitchen area and a loft master suite, the home makes efficient use of its small footprint. Polished concrete floors carry throughout the home and tall corner windows provide views from the main level and loft to the fields and wooded areas surrounding the property.
