Our Story
We are an architecture and design studio based in Prince Edward Island. Our studio’s name is inspired by the expression ‘the whole nine yards’, meaning everything or all encompassing and represents our commitment to exploring all facets of design. For us, great design encompasses and influences all aspects of life. It has the ability to shape behaviour, encourage social interaction, and elevate the environments we inhabit.Â
We approach each project with unconditional curiosity, a passion for experimentation and discovery, and a dedication to finding an original and forward-thinking solution.Â
We believe that architecture is not a defined style but rather a response to context – combining the vernacular building methods and materials of diverse climates and localities with a distinctly contemporary design ideal.
Founded in 2017 by architects Silva Stojak and Shallyn Murray, our studio is made up of thirteen individuals, all with an undying love for design – from architects and engineers to artists, project managers, graphic designers, and photographers. The multidisciplinary nature of our practice allows us to provide a diverse range of design services including architecture, interior design, object/furniture design, graphic design, branding and custom art installations.
